Dark Knight, Robert Downey, Brad Pitt are the People’s Choice

People’s Choice Awards is obviously not the most respected award giving body int he United States but it certainly is proud of being and having the biggest and a variety of names in the show business. This year will be its 35th annual awards event. And nominations are lining up already. Some of the leading contenders for this year also was heavyweights during last year’s awards show. Leading the favorites are Iron Man, The Dark Knight, Britney Spears, Hugh Laurie, Carrie Underwood, Justin Timberlake, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Steve Carrell, Coldplay, Rihanna, Sex and the City, Family Guy, American Idol and David Letterman. The event will show on Jan 7, 2009 and will be hosted by Queen Latifah.
