Yup, Mr. Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe in real life, has taken up the habit of smoking. He’s been lighting up the cigarette while shooting for the next Harry Potter Movie, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”. His co-actors have al;ready dubbed him as Harry Puffer for smoking too much: 20 cigs a day.
Friends and non-smoking co-actors are pleading with the youngster to stop while he’s young enough to. However, it was observed that as shootings get more stressful, he lights up more than the usual. Even the movie bosses are worried that his new habit may stain his reputation and image.
Let’s just hope this is a phase he’ll get over with eventually.

We won’t comment about Bai Ling’s acting chops, because more than her movies, she is making waves (usually not of the pleasant sort) with her outrageous, revealing, and fugly (a combination of two or more is the norm) taste in clothes – and combined with a nipslip here and there, well, let’s just say that she’s crossed the line several times, albeit sometimes unintentionally.
Bai Ling herself though, has never considered herself a fashion icon, and simply says that she wears what she wants – a part of her celebration of her life. She’s aware of the negative publicity surrounding her sense of style – if you can even call it that – but she simply takes the comments with a tongue and cheek attitude, and continue to wear what she wants, regardless of what anyone else says.
The jury’s still out though, on whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing.
Well, as can be expected of Hollywood, gossip and rumors are part of daily life and one has Jennifer Aniston to be a candidate for the next bond girl which is being planned. The infamous girls of Bond girl collage normally chose those of not so famous stature to make their break into mainstream Hollywood through the film. The Bond series which was rumored to have been patterned after the life of it’s creator’s affairs of the several kind with women from various backgrounds and the hide and seek game they play to prevent being caught. The many Bond films have always featured unknowns or more distant stars so choosing Aniston would be a departure from the norm.
Sean Connery on another note has been voted to be the best to play the infamous MI6 agent who roams the world to conquer evil men and their plots to destroy the governments of the world. On the music side, Spandau Ballet is rumored to be in talks to get back together for a concert tour, the group has long been a favorite back in the 80’s for their love tunes which sold like pancakes way back then. in-thing this year maybe the baby boom that Hollywood seems to be in with many of the major stars getting theirs or expecting theirs. From Jennifer Garner, Gwen Stefani, Salma Hayek, JLO, Angelina, Katie Holmes and many more, it just seems like everybody’s into it so why not. These Celebrity Babies are getting to know the lives they are going to be in early with paps on their trail wherever they maybe.
Some prefer privacy some love the publicity but generally
paps respect these kids and their parents (well some do) and let them be, enjoying life as parent and child. Some get a lot of attention like the child of who else, Brangelina who manage to keep out of sight by traveling the world as they work. Tom and Katie’s baby Suri is also getting a lot attention and say she’s the cutest of them all.

Not everyday can you hear about a fellow Filipina making waves out there in the International scene. But I’m sure you know, or at least have heard about, this little Pinay with such a great voice that astonished ordinary and popular people alike in faraway countries.
Charice Pempengco’s amazing voice was said to be inherited from her Mother, who has also been her primary voice coach since Charice began to sing at the tender age of four. She’s been active in singing competitions since way back when, and in 2005, her major break came when she got into ABS-CBN’s Little Big Star and took home the third spot.
Although she didn’t get the top notch, it is one of her performances in the said competition that brought her into international fame. YouTube posted her Little Big Star performance of Whitney Houston’s hit, “I Will Always Love You” and from that her career started to blossom.
If you are a fan of the Korean band Super Junior, then you should know that Charice performed with them before and even had their admiration. That’s quite a surprise, huh? Well, I still haven’t mentioned that even Oprah and her entire audience once got dazzled by her powerful voice. That’s solid proof that she’s truly a gem of a Filipina. So fellowmen, be proud!
After a decade or so of sleeping, the legend of Indiana Jones is revived with the release of the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull this summer. For most who remember Indiana Jones it brought back memories of the adventurer who always manages to get on top of things. He isn’t a super hero or invincible, he’s a regular guy who takes spills and falls with resulting aches and pains to show for it which makes him one of the most influential movie characters of all time. No wonder the fedora, the hat he wears, suddenly swings into the spotlight once again not only for men but also for some of Hollywood’s hottest women. Throw in those tight pants and you can call it the 80’s once again as we salute one of pop cultures idol for adventure!
