Iron Man Rockets to the Top
Who would’ve thought that a man inside a high tech armor would rule the summer box office?
Iron Man has just rocketed to the top of the movies to see this summer. It has just hit the $101 million earning in over three days. Once the Thursday screenings come in, it’s expected to go $3 million more. Add to that the overseas earnings of $96.7 million. Total of $201 million in five days.
It made some records: The movie is the 10th best three day opening, 10th movie to exceed $100 million, and No. 2 debut of all time for a non-sequel (No.1 belonged to Spider-Man with $114.8 million).
Iron Man 2? YES please!
